Moving Forward with Ralph Warburton

Greengate is delighted to announce the appointment of Ralph Warburton as our new CEO. With over 12 years’ experience supporting the transformation of aged care, Ralph is passionate about improving the quality and supply of care communities for Australian seniors. This makes Ralph the perfect fit for Greengate and our continued growth after launching two new villages, St Patrick’s Green in Kogarah and St Luke’s Green in Woolloongabba, last year.

Gourmet Barbecue

 

 

At St Luke’s Green, every day is a delight thanks in great part to our resident culinary wizard, Chef Paul.

 

Chef Paul is always whipping up treats for the residents like friands and biscuits for morning tea right through to a weekly dinner.

He's also a dab hand with the barbecue tongs and we would love you to join us for some gourmet grilling on our village green.

It's a great opportunity to check out our 'little village in a big city', have a look at the new apartments on offer and meet some of the residents and staff.

We love the life here and think you will too.

There will be no hard-sell or pressure and it won't cost you a sausage.

Visiting Someone Living with Dementia

People who live with Dementia can become anxious and frightened at times and may have trouble recognising people. Their behaviour can be unusual or awkward and they may find it hard to express themselves or understand people. However, feelings remain as does spiritual awareness. Visits can stimulate warm feelings, bring comfort and reaffirm spiritual truths.

Village Green Summer 2017

St Luke's Green Wins Design Excellence Award

St Luke’s Green, Greengate’s first Brisbane Village, has won the prestigious nettletontribe Award for Design Excellence at the Property Council of Australia’s National Retirement Living Awards 2017, in recognition of its incorporation of innovation around a historic church.

Get to know Paul, Head Chef at St Luke's Green

Meet Paul, our Head Chef at St Luke’s Green, Woolloongabba. Paul is a valuable part of Greengate’s Brisbane team, and not just because he cooks some of the best cakes and meals we have ever tasted. He has recently returned from his eighth trip to Mongolia where he volunteers at an orphanage, teaching young people how to cook.

Governor of Queensland Officially Opens St Luke's Green

St Luke’s Green, Woolloongabba, home to Brisbane’s most vibrant seniors community, was officially opened and blessed on Sunday the 10th of September 2017. It was a beautiful morning and the sun was shining as residents of the Retirement Village and Aged Care Home, and members of the local community met on the Village Green for a day of celebration.
