St Luke's Green and Jacarandas

At this time of the year in Brisbane, our streets and suburbs are full of magnificent Jacaranda trees in full bloom.  Watching the jacarandas bloom reminds us that summer is on the way and that our relaxed Queensland lifestyle is ideal for our climate.  The Jacaranda tree has a special significance for St Luke's Green.  Not only do our plans include planting a mature Jacaranda tree at the front of the aged care home to blend in with the numerous trees in the neighbourhood, one of our Independent Living Apartment buildings is called 'The Jacaranda'.  In this photo you can not only see the progress that continues with building the village, but you can see the many beautiful Queenslander homes that are our neighbours and the magnificent flowering jacaranda trees scattered amongst them.
